This is a Factory 1983 Kuwahara LASERLITE old school 1980’s vintage BMX!
It is the KZ-83 Tange made model with oval top tube and down tube. Forks are Tange TRX. These were the flagship model race BMX bicycle for Kuwahara at that time. Absolutely the best of the best!
This Laserlite is in great condition considering it’s age! Chrome is original and in survivor condition! Factory correct with mostly original stock comonents with some era correct replacements on the usual wear and tear items like tires, chain, headset, bb, seat post, seat and brake cable. Satin Araya 7x rims were new old stock but endured storage wear from sitting around for decades. Spokes are Asahi. Hubs are Suntour. 80’s Kashimax seat was originaly a padded seat and decals applied.
